About the founders of Pig Pen Publishing

Angela and Kathleen are two sisters who have spent most of their lives living in Northwest Arkansas and loving all that the area has to offer. Both graduated from the University of Arkansas, with Angela currently residing in Rogers and Kathleen now calling Greenland home.

Angela and her husband, Jack, have many children, two dogs, and three cats. Both are pilots who enjoy traveling the world together as well as raising service dogs, cattle, and goats.

Kathleen and her husband, Derek, have two daughters, three dogs, one cat, and four lizards. They enjoy spending time together with family and love working together to run their mobile video gaming venue: Game On.

The two sisters originally hailed from New Orleans. When they were still teens, their parents made the decision to relocate to NWA to be closer to family, and so they packed up their two horses, two dogs, two ferrets, cat, pig, cockatiel, and hamster (we mustn’t forget the hamster!) in a minivan and two horse trailers and moved to Fayetteville. Since then, the sisters have lived in nearly every NWA community, and are happy to call Arkansas home.
